Valorización energética de lodos de EDAR

TEDAGUA believes that specialisation is the best way to provide an effective response to the evolution of new needs in the water treatment and industrial solutions sector. Specialisation enables us to guarantee the highest standards of quality and service in each phase of our processes, from research into new solutions and project execution to our after-sales service.

New solutions are applied directly to new work in our pilot plants, allowing us to remain at the cutting edge of water-treatment and environmental technologies.

We are currently working on several new lines of research. These include:

  • Energy evaluation of sludge from EDAR plants, and their transformation into bio-oil. This line of research, developed by TEDAGUA in collaboration with the company holding the IBS patent, consists of evaluating different organic waste materials such as WWTP sludge, pig slurry, etc, in bio-oil compositions which are disposed of as heavy fuels.
  • Desalination cell prototype, based on vaporisation-condensation at low pressure. The purpose of this project is to present a low-pressure distillation method through the direct use of sea water at the temperature of the sea surface, and water for vaporisation and the use of sea water in deeper areas as a condenser and coolant, obtaining the necessary low pressure for the vaporisation process.
